Hello AZ Internal Medicine Families,

We hope that you and your families have remained safe during this unprecedented time and would like to thank you for being patient with us.

With your health and well-being in mind, we are cautiously reopening the office on May 18th for office visits and physicals (including wellness visits). We will continue to offer tele-visits for patients who do not wish to come into the office.

• All sick patients will be screened over the phone to decide between a tele-visit and an office visit.
• We will continue to follow the CDC recommendations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, and state officials to guide us for a safe reopening.
• Only scheduled patients will be allowed to enter the office. We require everyone entering the premise to wear a mask.
• All patients will be screened at the front door.
• Any patient with a temperature over 100.4 F will be asked to reschedule as a tele-visit.
• Our staff will wear personal protective equipment, including face masks and gloves.
• We will continue to perform proper hand washing, clean exam rooms and the waiting area between each patient, and follow physical distancing guidelines to the best of our abilities, while performing our medical duties during the visit.

We are eager to get back to our regular office schedule but must take the appropriate steps to do so safely. During this transition period we appreciate your patience as we implement new protocols to provide a safe environment for patients and staff members.
